Pipeline: Hazelden Betty Ford’s $40M Campus Upgrade; Addiction Treatment Services Expand in Multiple States

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation unveils $40M campus plans
Legacy nonprofit addiction treatment provider Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation revealed plans for a $40 million campus update in Rancho Mirage, California, adding a brand-new 60-bed residential facility, set to open in late 2027.
The facility will provide the necessary space for integrated care for patients with co-occurring mental health and addiction diagnoses. Following its construction, Hazelden Betty Ford will also renovate existing residential halls, dining facilities, and fitness areas.
Site preparation and the new entrance are scheduled for completion by late 2026, and renovations of existing residential halls and community center spaces are set to be finished in early 2029.
Porch Light Health Expands Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Treatment in Colorado
Denver-based outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) care provider, Porch Light Health, in partnership with its subsidiary Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), recently opened two new CBHC-led medication units.
One is located within Porch Light Health’s existing clinic in Fort Collins, and the other is embedded in a clinic in Greeley, Colorado.
Porch Light Health acquired CBHC in May 2025 as a strategic move to broaden access to medications like methadone for OUD treatment.
Nonprofit Expands SUD Treatment in San Diego County
Officials from the County of San Diego announced that New Creation Behavioral Healthcare Foundation, a Southern California nonprofit addiction treatment provider, will operate a new 73-bed residential treatment facility. The center will also have 16 additional beds for recuperative care to support individuals in their recovery journey.
