Allswell, a virtual behavioral health provider specializing in LGBTQ+ care, has announced a $7 million seed round led by ReThink Impact. With $1.3 million raised in an earlier pre-seed fundraise, Allswell now boasts a total capital runway of $8.3 million for expansion into new territories.

Dawn Androphy, CEO and co-founder of Allswell, aims to broaden services to regions with substantial LGBTQ populations and significant unmet needs. The funding will also be allocated to:

  • Expand clinical excellence training programs: Developing internal training for all therapists, with a focus on LGBTQ-specific content.
  • Grow regional presence: Expanding service offerings and exploring new clinical programs.
  • Introduce medication management: Adding this service line to their blended 1099 and W2 workforce model.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Allswell currently provides care primarily in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas. Androphy highlights the need for fully licensed providers with LGBTQ-specific training, which Allswell addresses through direct supervision and tailored training.

The platform serves hundreds of patients and has approximately 40 clinicians. Around two-thirds of their patients are covered by commercial insurance or Medicaid.
