Inside the C-Suite
Alabama-based addiction treatment provider Bradford Health Services named Jason Langley as its inaugural president in a newly created role.
Langley previously served as a C-suite executive in the urology sector. Just two months ago, Bradford appointed two new executives who bring 48 years of experience in the behavioral health sector combined. Langley’s addition as the company’s first-ever president comes as it prepares for a new phase of growth.
Since its founding in 1977, Bradford Health Services’ inpatient, outpatient, detox, and behavioral health services have expanded to 37 locations in seven states. Moving into 2027, Bradford Health’s focus will be on expanding access, refining core service offerings, and sustainable growth – but only when it aligns with quality care, the company's mission, and patient needs.
Langley shared his vision for Bradford:
“We absolutely believe there are opportunities to grow, both by strengthening what we already do and by thoughtfully looking at opportunities to reach more patients. But growth, for its own sake, is not the goal. Any growth has to support quality care, fit Bradford’s mission, and make sense to the communities and patients that we serve.”
The company's other newly appointed executives emphasized priorities including:
- Standardization of best practices across locations
- Seamless step-down care throughout the continuum
- Selective market and geographic expansion to reach underserved populations.
As Bradford’s new president, Langley will play a crucial role in bridging clinical, operational, and financial aspects to achieve these goals.
“What I bring to the president’s role is not just simply a financial perspective,” Langley explained. “I think it’s the ability to connect those different parts of an organization and make sure we’re aligned around those same priorities and create the structure that allows great people to execute.”
Prior to joining Bradford, Langley held a leadership position at a major urology provider.
